About the studio
A software studio with one bias: keep the storefront thin.
Lean Logic Studios designs admin utilities for merchants who care about speed — and for agencies who are tired of explaining why yet another app injects the theme.
Why lean becomes fast
Storefront performance is mostly subtraction. Every extra script, stylesheet, and third-party call competes with the product page. Some of that weight is chosen — a reviews widget, a loyalty launcher. A surprising amount of it is accidental: an admin tool that quietly ships a storefront embed because that was the easiest way to build it.
We treat that as a design failure. If the work happens in the admin, the app should live in the admin. The customer should not pay, in milliseconds, for a merchant’s back-office convenience.
How the studio works
We are not a theme shop and we are not an app factory. The studio builds a short list of utilities and says no to work that would put bloat on the storefront. Correspondence will come from a real person once a public inbox is listed — not a ticket maze, and not a personal address published here.
The tone is deliberate: precise, calm, and a little spare. Shopify merchants already have enough urgency in their inbox. We would rather be clear than loud.
How we choose work
- Does this job belong in the admin, not on the storefront?
- Can a merchant uninstall it without cleaning the theme?
- Is the surface area small enough that we can stand behind it?
If the answer is no, we do not ship it — even if it would be easy to sell.
A question, not a funnel
If you run a storefront that must stay fast — or you are an agency protecting one — the Support page will carry a studio inbox when we open one. Until then, there is no address to write to.
